    Best contact Paypal again,

Have you ever received emails from Paypal and clicked on the links and logged in ? alot are scams,

Have you even purchased Xbox points before? would they be set to recurring payments.

Change you paypal password to something really hard like this
    $%JoEbloGGs3&

Always use numbers/Capital letters and small case letter and some symbols

Would your mates/brothers etc know your passwords ?

Do you use a public computer, work/college/cafe/etc? Have you run virus and spyware scans, with up to date tools? Someone is obviously getting your password and spyware is an obvious source. It might be an idea to change your Paypal email address too, or close that account and open a new one.

Cancel the credit card would be a good precaution too, get a new one and set up a new Paypal account.

If someone is using your email too, that's probably how they got your Paypal password. Check the sent mail folder, to see if there's anything there, also check the Trash.

It's a keylogger, I'd say. Did they change your Paypal/eBay address, or were the ordered items going to be delivered to you?

It's either that or your other alter-ego is making an unwanted comeback, solitaryman :pac:

Since you're disputing the payment with Paypal, it might be an idea to let the seller know. Can you return the points to him, or can he re-sell if you tell him you're not using them? Any way of checking if they were used?

If the points were used, then it was probably a plain old hack. If they weren't used though, it could be someone you know who's trying to piss you off.

Keep in mind that once compromised a PC may have all sorts of malicious software that even dedicated Malware / Spyware scanners can't find / can't pernamently remove at times.

I speak from experience in helping someone and without going too much off topic in said incident the normal tools couldn't get rid of the bugger because it kept on reinstalling itself (even with manual uninstalls)! Almost thought it was indestructible:D.

Consider installing a good firewall that handles both inbound and outbound traffic. If something does get on your system then this should make it harder for it to send stuff out e.g. password, login info... without you explicitly authorising the "app" to connect outside.
