My mate's iPod touch can get on the internet straight out of the box, so why can't I get my phone working on the network? Anyone any ideas?

Look for the network settings on the phone and make sure the proxy settings are set to 'automatically detect proxy' or somethin like that.

If that doesn't work then go to the people in the Daedalus building and see if they can sort it out

Works fine for me on mine! You need to set those settings for each WiFi connection you pick up (there's sometimes multiple connections in the one area)
