Fitz sats for Touch Ireland 540 (9 Tickets Gtd each week)

For the next three Thursdays, starting tonight, the Fitz will be running sats for the our Touch Ireland Charity tourny. 9 Tickets are guaranteed each week. Each ticket is worth 540 euro. Any excess will be paid out in tickets.

The Touch Ireland charity tourny will run on the 21st and 22nd March.
140 of the buying will go to the charity and the other 400 goes into the prizepool.

Club membership required.

How can tickets be purchased & is there a maximum number (in advance, at the door etc.)
Tickets available in advance from the poker desk, maximum of 100 players plus alternates.

Type of Tournament (Hold'em/Omaha etc Freezeout/Rebuy etc.)
No Limit Hold'em Satellite

Cost of entry and any subsequent rebuys/top-ups etc.
€50, one rebuy or add-on @ €50

Cost of registration
€0

% of entry fee/rebuys/top-up going into Prize fund
100% payout, one ticket will be given out for every 540 in the prizepool
excess will be paid out in cash

Only about 35'ish runners so another large overlay with 9 tickets given out as guaranteed.

So anyways,
Blinds are 300 600 with a 50 ante and I have 6,750 approximately left.....im in the near the button.... I look down at AhQd lol ship

Teresa, regular player , says call (she is playing approximately 15K),

Big Mick (regular Player older guy with more chips than God says Call) and starts shipping about 25k over the line... There is another player still to act the sb.

Dealer who is newish starts counting Micks chips... At this stage, my flu like symptoms have progressed nicely and im sweating buckets, and as pale as anything. I go to the dealer "WTF are you doing"..

Mick pipes up Teresa is all in and I said call, I SAID CALL, I SAID CALL....Immediate danger bells ringing now

Dealer puzzled, im like FFS..... so I say in my stern Voice, "No Mick, I said all in, Terersa said CALL you said CALL and oh yeah there is still a player to act. lol

I then suggest that the dealer check my stack, 6,750 considering im the only one all in and everyone in the world and their mother has said call
He then takes 6,750 from Teresa
He Then takes 6,750 from Mick
Then he asks the next player who is still to act and he says call.... so we go to a flop (my pot has circa 27,400 in it)

Flop comes down Qh 8x 10x

Glad to see you got a ticket ElStuntman...... The above is a bit hazy because I really should not have gone into the Satellite, I haven't been right for the last few days..... (although many would argue I haven't been right for many a year)

I played last night (first live tournie since late January) and managed to run my AA into 77 on a 764 flop. That was fun. As mentioned above, fair play to the Fitz for the overlay - overlays rock!
