Looking for other musicians in the Cork area?

Guitarist and drummer looking for other musicians to join our little venture.were looking to start jamming with the aim of getting a band together and hopefully play a few gigs.
Were both in our late twenties and thirties and are ideally looking for people of similiar ages who are interested in getting a band together.
It would be mostly covers we,d be looking to play and hopefully get a decent setlist of songs together and play a few gigs.
Were looking for people who would be open minded and in it for the fun of playing and a few extra bob would be nice too.Not looking to be next u2 or take over the world stuff.
We would be looking for a bass player,another guitarist and possibly a keyboard player and a good vocalist too.
No timewasters please.

Some of the music we,d want to play include any classic rock stuff from the likes of thinlizzy,whitesnake,garymoore etc
Any crowd pleasing stuff or even a nice acoustic set.
were open to ideas or suggestions from anyone interested.

Thanks for the reply again mate.Were looking for someone who is very versatile that can play mainly electric guitar but who isnt bad on acoustic either.
Weve got in touch with another guitar player who plays both and can sing also so were going to try out this guy first.

Your enthusiasm isnt too be sniffed at all mate as its very hard to find commited people here as weve both been posting for a very longtime now so keep searching and dont give up.

All right colinboy i've been playing for around 10 years now but never really hooked up with other musicians for serious jamming and want to change that...I play electric and acoustic equally and bass is no bother for me,just dont ask me to sing anything.....i make bob the builder sound like an opera singer:)

hey i don't know if i replied to u before but i'm a really good female vocalist,,am dying without a sumthn 2 sing 4 at the moment!! based in corcaigh. influences kinds soulful n jazzy, al green, macy gray, ERYKAH BADU, jill scott stevie wonder etc, but can literally sing anythin, sang in covers band b4 and much stage experience.

ya you sent me a pm just before xmas.A female vocalist would great to add to the mix.It depends on the stuff youd like to sing though as it would be mostly pop/rock type of stuff and maybe an acoustic set aswell.
