can anybody tell me how does a family travel { to majorca }with a 10 week old baby on a plane and then onto hotel , would we have to bring a car seat with us for the journey to hotel from the airport and if we do , do we check it in with rest of luggage. or can they be hired in airport

If you are hiring a car then you can hire a car seat. Make sure the company you hire from offers this service.

No point in lugging your own.
