    Hi

Does anyone advertise with the above website?
if so do you get any results from it?
Seems too expensive to advertise on it for what it is right now.

In my opinion it's a bit to expensive as well. Although it seems to be one of the best places to advertise when it comes to on-line presence. I like their ads and the fact that they have a direct search bar on rte.ie main page.

Anyone know who owns it by the way? There's some serious cash being pumped into it the last year or two.
I've never seen a website to advertise so much on mainstream media. Its unreal. TV, Newspapers, Magazines, you name it...

Owned by Tony O'Reilly et al which explains the deep media budget.

Yeah they seem like a good place to adverize, however again I found their rates quite expensive.

You can squeeze them on the price. Early days on payback!

I agree that they are a bit expensive. Remains to be seen whether this latest attempt by SirT O'R works. Unison didn't and I think they had a number of other attempts at online success.

I used to work for a said company like this a while back..

There sales guys work on commission so cut the price by 75% per cent just play hardball.
Tell tom silage or who ever is pitching u that u will offer xx for a quarter of a page for your business. U must realise now advertising is Shocking at the moment revenue is down 500% they,ll claw anything just to keep the ball rolling.

I have a contact if u need it who still works for them (your local) He is still a good friend of mine i can put u with touch with him. He,ll give u the absolute rock bottom price of what ever ure after. Commission wont be a problem he,s a top salesman but all are struggling in these times just to keep a job !!

Im not quite sure he is doing the limerick tipp region have a look at there site its segregated into certain areas i dont know if there allowed cross sell etc

Pm me if needed ever. :D

You can pump as much money as possible into a website and it still won't take off, it takes a lot of work and building a user base that trusts you and can communicate with you easily. Yourlocal is not a great website.
