Been waiting for this album for quite a while now, absolutely loved the first album "Carnavas" and their EP "Pikul".

    Swoon release date 14 April.

I'm certainly looking forward to this album :D Carnavas and Pikul EP kicked serious ass. They were awesome at Marley Park when they opened for Foos and NIN so i can't wait for them to play over here again. Hopefully they'll play their own headlining show.

Those are the bands they get compared to most.

Must say that the new albums great, didnt know what to make of it after the first listen but after a few plays I'm hooked, am constantly playing it. Favourite tracks are theres no secrets this year, the royal we, panic switch and substitution.

Totally my thing, only heard lazy eye today playing guitar hero and was hooked, albums have been an repeat all day, the my bloody valentine comparison is fair not sure about the pumpkins one though.

I have a new love in silversun pickups :o

had a listen..its good...tunes are solid.....without a doubt overly influenced by pumpkins / mbv groove( sorry but its true )....but there are other shoegaze influences mixed in there to keep it interesting...

I'm really loving Swoon. I take a few listens to get into it but once you do it has you hooked. Every song is just fantastic but the standouts are There's No Secrets This Year, Panic Switch and Substitution :D
