I am looking for violin lessons for my 6 year old son. He is very keen to learn, all his own idea, any suggestions as to the best way forward?
    Am based in D4 area.

It's probably a bit late to enrol now as many schools and teachers go by the school year. DIT, RIAM AND Leeson Park all do violin lessons, contact them in a few months and ask when they enrol.

When I began playing violin I was on a waiting list for a year before I started so I'd say its worth finding somewhere now. Try Dublin school of music maybe I'm sure they would have teachers in your area
