Hi folks, wondering if anyone can help.

Just parked my car for the night. Turned everything off as usual, took out the key etc but the tail lights are still on. I've checked everything numerous times but nothing will turn them off.

Is there any way to get them off? Last thing I want is the battery dying overnight.

Yeah my apologies. It's a 2001 Hyundai Accent.

Take out the fuse for the lights. BTW check your brake lights etc before you drive, these may also be wonky.

Then get your car to a mechanic, you owe it to the car behind you to have your tail lights working properly.

It probably that the brake light switch (under the brake pedal) is stuck in the "on" position. Have a look at it, they are cheap and easy to replace.

    Cheers lads.

It was late so I just took the diode out of the fuesbox to get it through the night. I'll have another look later on and if it's still fooked I'll drop it around to a mechanic.
