    Hello-
I want to organise 2 weeks in the Sud of france for Girlfriend and myself.
    What are the best regions?
We are looking to visit some vineyards
    Cycle
    Barge
    visit some vineyards
    see some stuff
spend a day or 2 on a beach

we will probably rent a car.

So If you know the area and can recommend - places to stay and visit I would be most grateful.

I can recommend the Herault region as it has all you have outlined. Miles of beaches, the canal du midi which is great for walking and cycling along and of course you can hire a boat/barge. The whole area is a vineyard so plenty of wine.

We did a cruise on the Canal du Midi about three years ago. One of the favourite holidays we've ever had!
You could start over in Montpellier (working from west to east), get the boat from Carcassone to Narbonne or something. Then head over to Avignon for two nights. Then onwards to Nice - and around there. So many places to see from here: Antibes, Villafranche sur mer, Monte Carlo. Then inwards from the coast - St Paul de Vence. The list is endless!

I too recommend the Herault as there is plenty to see and do. You'll find it fits your criteria and more.
