Adamstown to City Centre cycle path

My friends mam who lives in Clondalkin said that they are building a cycle path from Adamstown along the canal/train tracks, the entire way into the city centre. Anyone know if this is true/has any information on it? There is a lot of works going on along the canal along the Ninth Lock Road/Nangor Road.

Well they are certainly doing something along the canal. It has been blocked off since Christmas down nearer Inchicore and where it goes under the M50 near Clondalkin.

This would be sweet as it's my route to work.

That sounds excellent. Fingers crossed they do something similar for the Royal Canal at some point.

Kool thanks for the link....looking at possible buying a place in Adamstown and this would greatly influence my decision.
