Teenage Mutant Hero Turles when did it first air?

    A friend of mine claims we watched TMHT cartoon when we were kids and I am sure we didn't. Doing a little search I can find out when it was first aired in the US and it does establish we were at least teenagers. I think there was a year or more delay before it was shown on UK/Irish tv making us older still. Anybody know when it was first shown where we could have seen it?

    That's when it first aired in the USA in olde days there could be years between a US airing and Irish one.

    I would have been about 5 or 6 at the time it was big over here I think so that would have been 1989/90.

    You could always chance firing off an email to RTE and askign them they should have something in their files. I fired them off a question about Rimini Riddle before and they gave me whatever info they had on it (granted it wasn't a lot but at least they took the time to reply).

    I was around 8 and just started 3rd class at the time when I was mad into them, I would say around '89.

    Same with me, but late 1990 was when I remember seeing the second season (Return of the Shredder - Return of the Technodrome). First season had only five episodes.
    Friday nights, 5:30 pm on the Den, I believe.
    Going Live! on the BBC were showing the above season at around the same time.

    it was on when i was in sixth year so I'd say 1990/1991.

    i was about 7 when i saw em for the first time on the box so id say 1990

    It started on BSB Galaxy in 1990 and moved to Sky One following the BSB merger at the end of 1990. Probably not the first time it was shown in the UK or Ireland but maybe one of the first.
