*upgraded from stock to lighter components

Looking to sell my Focus Cayo puchased at the end of April, as I have upgraded to a Litespeed Archon. The bike has seen around six months use and hasn't been out for the last while. It's a dream to cycle and has carried me around the Wicklow 200, Ring of Kerry, Sean Kelly Tour, etc. as well as up many Alpine cols all of which it got me to the top first bar one I don't like to talk about.

It is in excellent condition and has many components upgraded to lighter versions. Other components such as the wheels and saddle saw only very light use as I replaced them with others while I was using the bike.

Size-wise I am 6'0" with 33.75" inseam and the bike fits me great.

The 2009 Ultegra model costs in the region of €1,800 delivered from Wiggle so I think €950 is reasonable. To be honest I'm not massively flexible on the price as if I don't get it I will keep it as a training/standby bike. I might even get an eccentric hub and turn it into a fixie :)

    I'm located in Donnybrook/Ranelagh.

My god, what a fab bike! If it was a 56, I'd be all over it.

I think you should point out that it was through no fault of the bike that you came second up one of the Cols, it was down to rider error :)

Anyone wanting a really good carbon bike should snap this up, it definitely has the TinyExplosions seal of approval!

@Blorg: If I was you I would defo considering keeping that as a training bike. Unless you have another suitable one?

I can't afford it, much as I wish I could.

Out of interest though, how much does it weigh, all in?

@Raam- I have my titanium Van Nicholas tourer which could just about fill that role- not as light or nimble as the Cayo mind. Will definitely keep it if I don't get the asking though.

@Tau- claimed weight from Focus is 8.05kg but I think that is a bit under the actual, I'll weigh it tonight and get a figure.

    Hey Blorg,
looks great. I'll take it if you can hold onto it till your back from Spain, I'll make the trip up to the big smoke that weekend.

    She's mine :-)

    Thanks Blorg!

A very fine piece of kit, will hopefully fit me better than the current steed, which will be up for sale very soon.

btw, I can report that Blorg's residence is exactly what you'd expect, like that of a mad old cat woman except with bikes. There was even a wheel in the bathtub....

No, but the flush handle is an STI lever, and there is a sign over the cistern that says "Tiny beat you up the Glandon. Sit down and think about that."

Enjoy Lumen, I thought I'd be doing well to get in there before any of the Dublin lads. Planet X for me later in the year I'd say.
