Australian version of Christina Noble's 'Bridge Across My Sorrows'

    Hi all,

I recently read Christina Noble's 'Bridge Across My Sorrows' & 'Mama Tina' and I think part of the reason I liked them so much was because I had visited Vietnam beforehand - along with the actual storyline, its sensitive & inspirational nature.

I have also visited Australia and would like to try this formula for finding a book I might enjoy i.e. - real life, inspirational, based in/around Australia. Or as the heading suggests - the Australian version of a Christina Noble type of book.

    Any one got any suggestions??

    Thanks in advance
