Been looking at the new model Honda Civics and thinking about getting the 2.2 diesel but i notice there are 3 different models in that line. There is "SE", "ES" and "Type S".

Just wondering if anyone has any idea of the difference between these 3 models?

carzone.ie has a comparison function for different models of car.

    it's also here:

    SE is the base model.

    SE-S adds alloy wheels.

    SE Executive adds leather interior.

ES has no leather but you get a panoramic full length roof, cruise control and electric folding wing mirrors.

Type S is only available in 3 door. Adds 17" alloy wheels, sports suspension and Alcantara sport seats.

2.2 i-CTDi Civic only seems to be available in one trim level in Ireland - SE-S.

I see Honda in the UK are now offering (or a due to) the Type-S spec in a 1.4 as well as the 1.8.
Should help sales of the 3dr. looks a lot better in the 3dr with the kit.
    Starting about £13-14k sterling.
I'll be looking when the time comes

And the 1.4 is getting a power boost too. Think its going to be about 98 bhp now, up from 82 which should make a decent difference
