hey all!

Have been coveting a PS3 for quite some time so when an offer on ebay cropped up for a 6 week old 80 GB version with 2 controllers and 3 games (Fallout 3, Dead Space, and the latest brothers in arms game) i couldnt resist!! I ended up winning the bid at 298 euro so now i eagerly await its arrival!! Anyhoo just wanted to introduce myself as i will be hanging around this forum a lot more now!!

Welcome to the forum. I hope you collected it, because to get it for that price PLUS postage means that there's either something wrong with it, or with the seller for letting it off so cheap.

Well it was described as new, and in "immaculate condition" so if there is a problem i'm covered by ebay, and insured by paypal and so will be on his ass like a tonne of bricks. The seller has had a 100% record since 2002 so fingers crossed everything is in order! There were a good few PS3's up for sale on ebay that night so maybe he just got unlucky with the bidding! He never put a reserve on it!

Yeah killzone 2 is a must have game for me along with Fifa 09 and COD4. So do you lads get together regularly online for multiplayer?? that'd be pretty cool if you did!

man seriously fallout 3 is one of the best games i have evered played, i'm in my 3rd play through and close to a total of 200hours clocked on it.

well the ps3 arrived with the games and it's in perfect nick! Seems like i got extremely lucky with the bidding Anyway's i was wondering if you guys new any good HDMI cables that you could recommend??

Get the cheapest HDMI cable you can get. HDMI is a digital signal so there is no signal quality loss over longer cables or badly shielded cables. The expensive cables are just a cod.

certainly better than the price I paid for mine 700euro for 60gb and 2 games ..

anyways get Killzone 2 and join our clan..

Make sure to get MGS4 too. It's cheap nowadays and you'll love it! Online is great too, albeit a bit of a b*tch to set up:P
