Sole Trader Expenses

    Hi

    Can anyone tell me what expenses a non vat registered sole trader can claim for? Or if anyone can point me in the direction of where i can read up on it.

    Pretty much any genuine expense.

    Yep, any expense you can justify you need in order to carry out your duties as a soul trader.

    Ok so can you tell me if im correct can i claim for the following?
    My home is my 'office' but i do travel to customers i don't work at home as such.

    Phone bills
    Van repairs,servicing
    Diesel
    Mileage
    work clothing
    toll bridge
    tools
    small machinery
    .........?

    The likes of the phone or van i could use for personal use now and then,how does this work?

    You claim a percentage of the total amount
