You might have another snow experience if you are headed up high- be sure to bring your phone/camera.

Where'd you go in the end, scott? Any weather reports from the sally gap this week?

Well to be honest the roads are okay but I think if there's any snow tonight or a bad frost then that could be a different story. I went the usual route for me Up to Johnny Foxes via Slate cabin lane, then right and onto Glen Cree (not sure what that way is called Pineforest perhaps), up over Sally Gap and down into Laragh. There was snow on the tops and from basically glen cree all the way to the top of the long down hill into laragh. I road on the line provided by one the cars and didn't have any problems at all. Any Northern Aspect parts of hills had more snow on and it started snowing a little now and then but nothing to keep a good man down.

Saw another cyclist out there and he was having a hard time up Sally Gap stopped just before the last step part but he did well. He said, 'Good Luck', as I went past which I laughed about - Don't stop going up just ride sensibly as its training not luck. I told him I was happy to see God made 'two fools' and not just me.

Here's a few pics.... no video sorry wasn't able to stop as I was on a mission.

The climb from Laragh to Sally Gap looks nasty.
