I can't stand Jimmy Kimmel, it's probably the worst of the late night shows apart from Carson Daly.

They should have got Letterman, or even Jimmy Fallon's new Late Night. Or waited for Conan's new Tonight Show...

    Must have gotten it cheap

not a bad show. They're catching on to the great american late night shows very late in the game. They missed Conan completely. I wouldn't mind seeing how Jimmy Fallon does but untill then, this will have to do.
Still, Better than that Craig Ferguson. He's Terrible.

I really like Jimmy Kimmel and thankfully we get to watch him now on tv instead of having to stream on my laptop. Finally 3e are doing something right.

CNBC Europe still show The Tonight Show on a one day delay (or Friday's show on Monday)

They stopped showing Late Night a few months ago though, after moving it around their schedule lots.

Some clips of Jimmy Fallon's first show here -> http://www.lateshowuk.com/all-change-in-2009/2423/the-first-ever-late-night-with-jimmy-fallon

Yeah I saw that, Gibson was quite good and was good fun when kimmel brought up the drink driving thing. The colonel skit was quite funny too. But the Tom cruise skit was the biggest load of s**e, I cant think of any other way they could have wasted the thousands of dollars it took to make that.

Overall, I like Jimmy Kimmel but I wouldnt wait up to watch the show or even make an effort to watch it. The you-tube highlights are good enough for me and filter out any of the crap on the show

How much of a delay is there between US broadcast and 3e broadcast?

I know it's a scripted show, but The Colbert Report is the best late night US show.

    FX, midnights Tuesday-Friday.

    Watchhh.

A couple of days, they seem to be close enough to the US schedule according to abc.com and the tv3 site

well last night's episode was certainly from a good few weeks ago, as he made reference to the Hudson Plain Crash - which he said happened earlier today. So they must be showing the episodes out of sequence which will be annoying.

I can't believe the amount of people who spend their time on these boards doing nothing but complaining about what's on tv - GET OUT AND GET A LIFE!!!!
If you know so much about what shows should be acquired and how stations should be run- get a job there and no doubt you'll be CEO before long.
