    Hi,

I have a .pdf document, over 50 pages long, where I have to remove amend the first page.

It has a password so I don't know if I can get around this.

Nothing illegal - its just that the original document will have to be posted - someone has tried to email it to me and the security features prevent the unlocked version being email apparantly.

I tried to download the trial version of Adobe Acrobat but it seems to have errors in the download .... so I can't even try it on that. And as its over 50 pages long the online free editors are out.

If you can help I would be grateful.....

Maybe try, download CutePDF and install it as a virtual printer. Print your 50 page doc to it, omitting page 1. If you can recreate page 1 to your requirements you can use CutePDF again to create the full doc.

    I think it'd work.
