Can you register more than one name with the CRO if you are a sole trader. I am looking at registering a second name so I can get the .ie domain name. Is it possible or would I need to set up a company?

You can register as many RBNs as you like.

If the second name is a brand you intend using, your registrar should be advising you about the Discretionary Name category.
