    Hey,i'm wanting to get some information on partridges.Has anybody had any expierence in releasing these birds and what were the results?Are there many places these birds can be got also?

    We release a number of red-legged partridges each year on our shoot and, in the past, have also released grey partridge.

    They are certainly a pack bird and will run if they get a chance. That said, when a covey is come upon on a shoot day they literally explode before the guns. They are fast, great targets, cause loads of cursing and are very nice to eat.

    If you have not released them I would encourage you to do so but don't expect a large return on your investment.
