Student Bank Loan?

    alright guys,

    I currently have a student loan with AIB, have had one since i started college, im 3rd year now. Also have an overdraft with them.

    anyway im going on j1 this summer and i anit gona have any money going over so looks like im gona have to ask for a loan extension. at the moment my loan is at about 2000, but the last 3 months i havent had enough in my account to pay off the repayments so they have automatically come out of my mothers account(shes my guarentor on the loan).

    So i was wondering wether uz reckon they will give me the loan, ill probabably looking to ask for 2000 at least?

    it was my view that they wont care how much i ask for once i have a guarentor, is that correct??

    i also hear of BOI's interest free travel loan but to be honest ill prob stick with AIB.

    any opinions?
