I need to find someone to build some fancy spreadsheets for me. Preferably someone in Dublin. Where would I look?!

Some sort of indication re: the difficulty/scale of the task- I'm sure there are plenty of boardsies (incl. myself) who could probably help for free/very little depending on the above.

What do you want done? I'm a whizz-kid with it and will do your work for free if it wouldn't take too long.

The idea is to have a few sheets within a work book that are linked so that we enter info into certain fields (dates, sizes, quantities etc) and the other sheets are populated to make lists, booking form, stock not in-use list, that kind of thing.

It's for work so I have a few quid to spend on someone who can do the job. I'd rather someone came into our office in Dublin city centre and spent 2 days on it and pay them accordingly than do it remotely online. If anyone's interested or they know where I can find someone please tell me!

are you trying to track stock levels?

would a simple database not be easier?
I can give a hand if you need one (fairly good with excel)

I agree: A database using MS Access sounds more suitable for what you want, and I know exactly how to go about making it. It could be done with Excel too, but wouldn't be as 'user friendly'.

As with the others, I would be pretty handy with excel (I have been teaching it on and off for many years) , if you are talking about a couple of days work then you are also talking about ongoing maintenance (probably) I doubt if I would do it for free. I would have to know a good bit more about what you want before taking it on, feel free to PM me if you want to go into more detail.
