Please let it be true. It would be so nice to see that bunch of scumbags move on and see Taylor's reinstated.

    C'mon Taylors...

I think that as part of the planning for the titty bar, the bar layout of Taylor's downstairs had to be preserved. Here's hoping...

Good news if it's true. I'm not for banning these kind of places, but it's nice to see them fail due to market forces.

Well done Galway, you're classier than they thought :D

You're absolutely right. It's a listed building so nothing could be changed inside.

    Oh God, we have to..

    Tay-lors, Tay-lors, Tay-lors!

Can we get Mick back too, pleeeese.

Who's in charge of the t-shirt printing? :)

I would also like to see Taylors back. With that said, I was in that end of town on Saturday and it looked open. There was some guy in a Buzz Lightyear costume going in as I was walking past.

I saw guys going in there on Saturday and heard the bouncer say "20 euro in, no touching the girls, no sex with the girls." Lovely. They have been doing some work in there though, I can see the back of the place from my apartment and the workmen have been in and out. I think it's still alive!

Who the fcuk would bother paying 20euro to look at a pair of t1ts? If yer that desperate, get a flight to Amsterdam for the 20euro and get a proper shag (Yes I realise the shag will cost extra)

    The mind boggles

I was going to say... 20 euro is mad expensive for a titty bar

I mean, I don't know from personal experience or anything so this is all second hand info, but Montreal's strip clubs are supposed to be some of the premier in the world (pole dancing was invented by Canadian strippers, oh the many things I have to be proud of my country...) and I doubt any of them charge you much more than 5 bucks to enter. And they serve free food. (people tend to buy a lot of money on "super contact" lap dances though, apparently they're addictive? so it's not really free)

Fiver in, free food. Sounds good to me ;)

    Suuuuuure it is... :D

Only messin... can't see the appeal of the place tbh, just adds to the seediness of Dominick St (along with the casino, the sex shop and dodgy eating establishments)... although the seediness is funny more than anything else IMO.

I still don't get it (not a prude, far from it) - but why pay 20 euros admission for a strip joint if you can go to CPs or any other haunt in Galway and see girls jiggle for free (more or less, you might have to drink some of them pretty) in revealing clothes? Plus you might score at the end (when everyone's drunk)...

They must have run out of money to launder..

Well they were handingn out passes again last night so it's not closed yet...fingers crossed though as Taylors was the balls !!!

Used to love the beer Garden in the summer too sitting on the empty pint bottle crates :D

    obvious can't get a girlfriend

Sure don't cross the road. There is a chance that you may get run down. Come back to the real world you

Do you have research that states that only people with partners go to strip clubs or hookers?

Id rather keep the €20 for a few Kopparbergs and also not pay €12 into CP, id rather keep that for some Kopparbergs too and go to the Roisin instead!

It's a horrible place. The inside of it is so damned dingy. You cannot reach into your pocket to pull out your wallet without some bouncer nearly punching you. 20euros in and then 20euros for any sort of a dance. Which mainly consists of the woman taking off her bra, swiveling her hips and then finishing.. a minute later.

Oh and 600euro for a lapdance.

    :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    WAT?

(Mr Xiney reports that a lap dance is a tenner in Le Club Supersexe)

(If you need me to tell you that that link is NSFW then you fail at life)

I guess it could be salvaged if Taylors return.

As expected, the bar fittings and decor up front look largely unchanged.

Oh and 600euro for a lapdance.
 That can't be right! Have you got an extra zero on the end?

Nope. It really is 600euro for a lapdance. I remember taking a look at their pricing chart when I was there and bursting out laughing.

Ethernet, make it 5€ and you've got yourself a deal!

Fair enough. I was there once for a stag in 2005 and I don't recall the lapdances costing anywhere near that much. Then again we just got dances without any "added extras".
