I bought a vostro 1500 last year and what started off as a tiny green dead pixel caused by applyin slight thumb pressure to the screen accidently (2-3 weeks after buying the laptop)has now spread right down d screen gradually.. so now the screen is almost unviewable.

Was thinkin of getting the screen replaced but according to dell it will cost about €240 and shop off camden street said be roughly €300. Think id be better off buyin simiar spec laptop for about €500 or does anybody know cheaper way to replace laptop screens?

Might not even need full replacement not to sure as you cant feel crack...looks more like dead pixel line but its there even when you turn screen off......any help/advice appreciated :)
