Here ya go, this has videos as well. Personally, I'd go for a g18c or full metal m9 http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055458356

i own a full metal m9. accurate, stylish, consistent for a gbb.but the magazine supplied with it is faulty leaking gas. i hear this is a very common problem with the kjw m9 but can be easily fixed

Yeah all ya need is a bit of silicone Grease, can get it from diving shops, Motor Factors or places that deal in machinery or diggers,

I have been looking for an M9 for a while myself and I saw the new KSC M9 with the new system 7 blow back on ehobbyasia. Its full metal and the safety also works as a decocker which not all airsoft M9s get right. I'm just justifying it here to myself.:D

If want full auto they have the new M93 with the same deal as the new M9.

As far as that list goes,
KJW M9 is one of the most reliable and most common at the moment,
Glocks, Take anything made by KWA, the quality and reliability of them is second to none.
1911, theres a few decent ones, i was playing with a wilson combat the other day which was a really nice peice, the Bell 1911 has great trades and its a good reliable piece, KWA one is fantastic, no rattling, good power, great recoil but it doesnt have any trade marks and its black. I prefer the brownish colour of the traditional ones.

    TM Hi-Cappa

In terms of pure GBB performance, it's unbeatable. You'll never go wrong with a TM GBB.

    In no particular order...

KSC Glock 19 (metal slide) - Simple construction, compact and effective.
KSC USP .45 (metal slide) - System 7 does work better in the cold*. However with the stock GBB, although the slide is metal, the outer barrel is plastic.
KJ Works M9A1 (metal slide) - Reasonable price for a solid GBB. Good performance, lack logos.

*comparison was restricted to KSC Glock 19, KJ M9A1, KJ Sig 229, KJ 1911.

    I'd personally recommend:

    KWC S&W Sigma40F [CO2]
    KJ Works 1911 [CO2]

both awesome pistols with incredible kick and reasonable accuracy.

i have the sigma 40f.. the old and more powerful version with the metal slide.. but its gettin old and its quite ugly in my opinion.. does anyone buy from mainirishairsoft?? wat are their best pistol? ive heard good things about the usp compact but in their store it says its like only around 260fps/ 0.7 joules (somethin like that)

If you're after the USP compact, I'd advise you to go for this years version from KSC with its new System 7 GBB design as it reduces the cool down effect and provide better kick back.

I have a KSC USP full size with and without the System 7 upgrade and its does make a difference especially on colder days.

I was asking as Airsofteire are out of stock :)

yup - that's the one I have, metal slide, massive kick. Also have the extended tightbore barrell and silencer fitted which nicely balance the extended mag. Tis a beastie.

0.7J is loads for a pistol - think of the range you'll be using it at, no need for any more power than that.

KSC Glock 18c chose it over everything at firesupport in scotland, never let me down yet. :)

I have one too, its a great GBB. I like the plastic slide, it helps with ROF and gas economy. I have the 50 round mag for it also, it looks great on it.

Out of curiosity, how long did it take to get delivered and did you have any hassle with customs here or elsewhere?
