    Do both.

Up to personal preference really. CQB can be very fast and intense but then again so can open combat. But if you want patroling, ambushing, and wants things to get a bit close now and then go open.

Or as DAR said do both and do them as often as possible.

Get a P90, your cover all points then, especially if you get a tight-bore barrel.
And high quality BBs (which you should have anyway).

In the end its all a matter of personal preference. I think open combat offers more objectives, teamwork, ambushes etc. But CQB is very fast paced, so to echo what others said do both!

    Do cqb, lol!

Open combat offers a long term game plan and a drawn out strategy that can be serious fun.

CQB offers non stop firing, fast paced and enjoyable games so as said before both are great fun!
