Hey there
Im looking to buy a lens soon for some landbased surf photography. Ive got a canon eos400D and ive been looking into getting the sigma 70-300mm lens. Ive seen this in action lately and it seems to do the job nicely for the budget i have but i have some questions..

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between these lenses?:
Sigma 70-300 mm F4-5.6 DG Macro Tele-zoom Lens (154euro)
and the Sigma 70-300 mm F4-5.6 APO DG Macro Tele-zoom Lens (210euro)

Any help appreciated!

The APO version is made using low dispersion glass, designed to minimise color aberration.
Its also widely considered a better lens for a low budget.
Well worth the extra few euros I would say.
