Hi I need some help, with VM player.

I downloaded VMware Converter, and converted my Hard Drive to a VM. Every thing went fine when I loaded it as VM.

It comes to the welcome screen and ask to be activated.
I lost the product key so I used PC wizard to get it, but when I enter it tells me that I have typed it in wrong which I know I have not.

    BTW it’s Win XP Pro

If you mean the Windows product key then you may have a problem.

VM isolates you from the real hardware the windows product key was originally activated against. Instead it gives you generic virtual hardware with different names serial numbers/addresses.

Best to ring microsoft using the number in the activiation wizard to get your existing key activated against the "new" hardware.
