Passport Question

    Hi all!
    Quick question cant seem to find the answer anywhere.
    On a passport form section 2a (is name to appear on passport)
    Do i have to put my middle name here? is it essential? :confused:
    does anyone have a passport with just their fore and surname on it?

    ill put my middle name on the next section 2b (name on birth certificate)
    Will it get sent back or delay the process?
    Need it for April planning on gettin the passport express in the post office.

    Yes put your middle name. There is a section on the passport for your middle name and if you dont tell them then..........It is a requirment and they wont simply call you and ask you if you forgot. They will just send it back for you to fill it in.

    They ask for the name(s) on your birth certificate and also the name(s) you want to appear on the passport because like confirmation you tend to add another name but its not essential to the passport.

    I had my middle name on my birth cert and my passport. I didn't fill it in on the form when applying for a new passport (sending my old one back to them as it was damaged).

    They sent me out the new one without a middle name. John Doe now instead of John Stupid Name Doe.
