Hi guys,

I was just wondering if anyone here has/is using any of the Gefell small diaphram condenser mics, in particuallur the MV692 with Gefell M70 capsule.

I got offered a pair at a good price, now one of them is Neumann Gefell RFT (pre 90's commie) one and the other is Microtech Gefell newer version, both are the black colour casings.

I plan to use the set for overheads or mabey close mic hats/ride or acoustic guitar.

I know there not real neuman km84's but sound wise what do you think.

Opinions please
