    Go to the "earth sandwich" website:

    look at where Algeria is in relation to whats directly on the other side of the earth, and you can see where the Island is. Locke & Ben both went directly through the earth to the other side, which was Algeria. It wasn't random - cause the camera was there waiting for someone to come through.

    What do people think?

    But the island is always moving now. Ben left when the island was in one place, then it started moving so it's probable that the island was in a different location when Locke left. In fact, it's more than probable seeing as Ms. Hawking had to go through a lot of trouble to locate the island. I think the reason Widmore knew where to put the camera was because he left the island and that's the point where he emerged.

    The island is always moving but the exit point remains the same.

    I'm pretty sure that it's physically moving as well, thats why it disappeared in the finale to Season 4, and thats why Ms. Hawking had such trouble in locating it.
