Backed up Traffic on Tramore Road Yesterday (sat)

    Anybody know what was going on down on the Waterford Tramore road near Farrells garage around lunchtime yesterday?

    Came down the ring road and saw all the traffic backed up coming up the road from the roundabout so I cut left and went down by the racecourse and found myself stopped before Seaview so the traffic was stopped through the Sommerville roundabout as well. Turned around and went back to Moonvoy roundabout and into Waterford that way instead but there seemed to be little movement.

    Any ideas??? Crash, Gardai?

    bike race, the guards were stopping traffic at somerville roundabout, it might have been a duathlon either
