iPod Touch/iPhone, othe non-Laptop devices/ UCC WiFi

Just wondering, how would I go about using my iPod with the UCC Wifi System?,
The Amount of hidden Portals in the Campus buildings are countless, but I understand that's its only Laptops that are allowed to be registered with the Wireless system. IMO its a Joke, seeing as most documents on Blackboard are compatible with Safari on the iPod/Phone!

Just wondering if anyone has any other devices joined to the Network, besides Netbooks and Laptops?

I don't but I think I remember them saying in the computer centre that you're entitled to register a laptop and one other device or something like that. Have you asked in Boole basement?

There is no problem getting an iPod set-up to use the network. Treat it as a normal laptop. Sign up online and then call to the computer centre!

You definitely can register them on the network, I have my ipod touch registered. You go to sit.ucc.ie and just register the device online, then go into them to finish off the registration and off you go! :)
