hey, a few years back i went on a holiday to Thailand..took my breath away stayed in phuket,,people so friendly and down to earth,,,did a scuba diving course and got qualified there too,,did amazing dives and for doing this we went to phi phi island and places i would not have seen for doing the scuba,,met great…

hey, a few years back i went on a holiday to Thailand..took my breath away stayed in phuket,,people so friendly and down to earth,,,did a scuba diving course and got qualified there too,,did amazing dives and for doing this we went to phi phi island and places i would not have seen for doing the scuba,,met great people,,made some friends,,the sun shone,,the sand was pure white and the sea crystal blue,,the food, drink everything so cheap. everything was great apart from seeing how poor some people were but mind you they always had a smile and a laugh they appreciated what they had, made me think alot bout how we can not appreciate what we have ....going travelling in bout 2-3 years ill be going back for few months...:):)

so what was your favourite travel destination? what made it stand out?

Was gona go to Thailand, but thought to myself 'Phuket, cant be arsed'.

On a serious note, I did enjoy San Francisco and Majorca.
