I have been recording wedding videos and DVDs for over 30 years and have come across some very decent musicians in my time and my outlook on what makes for great music is the number of your guests that you can see on your wedding DVD who look back towards the gallery to check out the musician during the ceremony.

I have seen this happen on many many occasions with a very talented Church Singer based in Dundalk called Michael Connolly, who also plays guitar. He is absolutely magnificent. If you want to have a listen to his voice, visit his website www.McMusic.ie a lot of his songs are available for online listening.

I know that he also teams up with a female singer for duets if this is more what you are looking for. I have no idea what he charges, but I do know that he gets the right reactions from any of the congregations that I have video taped.

There is truly no better male singer for a church wedding in Dundalk or any town within 50 miles of Co Louth, and I do not give this recommendation Lightly.

Best of luck on Your Wedding Day,

    Gerry Duffy

I had the below man at our wedding and he was brilliant, i was not sure at first when i saw the website, but then i went to see him play and he was brilliant. Needless to say i was impressed with him on our wedding day (even though it was hard to enjoy with the nerves ) He got great reviews from our guests and is a Dublin man himself
