ballycotton 10 race spectators

    does anyone know whats a good time for spectators to arrive in ballycotton as ive heard that its very busy there on the day of the race, and is it very difficult to get paring etc.

    As early as possible is the simple answer and certainly before 11am.
    Parking in the village itself is obviously not allowed. If the weather is pretty dry, 3 temporary carparks will be opened close enough to the village (c. 15 min walk) but these will fill up very fast.
    Your best bet may be to park at one of the outlying carparks (e.g. Garryvoe) and use the shuttle bus into the village. Obviously, preference will be given to runners, but you'll have no problem getting in. A bicycle is also a good option from these carparks!

    Its probably best to have a plan as to where you're heading. Traffic diversions will be in place - follow the advice of the marshals on duty, they do a great job for what is an entirely volunteer-run event.
