I have a loan of a Merc e240 for a couple of weeks. It has cruise control which I have not used before. I have been able to set a speed limit but I have not been able to lock the car at a speed. the owner of the car is away on holidays so I cannot ask her.Anyone familiar with these cars out there?

push in the end of the stalk, (like a button) you'll see an orange light coming on and off on the stalk. one is the limiter, and the other is cruise control. I think light off is cruise control and light on is the limiter.

is it on the end of the stalk on top of the indicator stalk on the left. Pust that stalk up and push the brake to disingage cruise.

push stalk up (like an indicator) to switch on cruise control, push up & hold again to increase cruising speed, push down & hold to decrease cruising speed. Push brake to disengage, push up once to resume to previous cruising speed (be careful, it can accerate suddenly)
