I know the roads around the airport fairly well, but not for cycling, so would be unsure of a good route, and it depends on whether you just want to lap the airport or go further afield. Im sure someone here cycles there regularly and will help ya out

The road that runs parallel with the main runway is quite busy. Lots of HGV's and buses. Quite wind swept too so not ideal for cyclists. The less used road that winds its way around the north-west perimeter of the airport, by the tower and Old Boot Inn, is less busy but the surface is shyte and the local farmers and builders often leave it strewn with muck.

That is my run around the airport whenever I'm short on time. Takes me just under an hour door to door unless the wind is out. It can be very exposed there so a head wind really can suck somedays.

I like the Boot In circuit that Ryaner posted.
If you go a little bit north or even west of there, there is a warren of quiet country roads which are great for cycling. Head out some Saturday and explore them.

Use the R122 to the west of the airport. It's busy between St Margaret's and the city, but not nearly as busy as the roads east of the airport. It also leads to the abundance of quiet country roads in north dublin that Raam mentioned. Me and some friends did a spin up that way today, and returned from the Naul to Dublin by the R122.

Seconded - I've used these roads for W200 training. They are quiet, peaceful and relaxing.

Get an Ordnance Survey Discovery map so you don't get lost.
It's kinda cool reading all the townland names - there's a "Brazil" north west of the airport.
