Just wondering if anyone knows of any upcoming wallet friendly tournaments coming up in Dublin or best website to reference. I'm thinking along the line of €50 freezeout or €20 rebuy tournaments. I'm not a new player, just an experienced lowstakes player who doesn't have a large amount of money to play poker with.

    Tnx in advance

Thanks for that Ian. Also doesn't have to be today or tommorow, it could be a weekly or a monthly tourney, or even a random tournament in a football club or something.

by the sounds of it you want what most players want

Good freezout with large starting stack and long'ish blinds
ie €60 freezeout with a min of 10k starting stack (anything around that is value)

now all it depends is on where you live? let me know what night and location you would like to play and i can suggest the location. i've probably played in them all in dublin

There's a 20 euro freezeout on thursday nights in The Jackpot just off Harcourt street. 30 min blinds with about 5 or 6 tables. Only 3 euro reg too. That'd be my pick of the week anyway. You can also play for free if you ring ahead and offer to deal for the night, but you'd be better off playing normally as dealing's a pain in the rectum.

Hope to see you there some night!!!

The Jackpot on Wednesday would be my pick for a good value cheaper tournament. It's 40+5, 5k starting stack and 30min blinds throughout

would you not prefer playing a €60 freezeout with 10K starting stack wioth 20 min blinds?

what is the starting stack in the jackpot on a thursday?

It's 2500 with blinds of 25/50 to start, at 30 mins a level.
I think it's alright for the money to be honest, and I'm talking about the best you're gonna get for the lowest amount possible given I'm a student. Plus there's the free play if you're in any way handy at dealing, which I am, if I may say so myself.

The 10k for 60e sounds appetizing I must say, but 20 minute blinds in a casino just irritates me to the max!!! It's not like we're in a pub and have to be out by midnight you know? What do the blinds start at and where is this game?

The Sporting Emporium on a Monday has a €10 multi rebuy (3 rebuys + top up) on Thursday it has a €55 double chance freezeout 2500 + 2500 not a bad little game 4/5 tables and on Sunday it has €55 freezeout 4/5 tables 5000 starting stack.

20 minute blinds going to 25 minutes later on, plus 500 early bird chips if your in before the start. Monday and Thursday start at 9 and the game on Sunday starts at half 7, i am a fan of the Sunday game nice little tournie, this is all presuming your from around Dublin and over 21 :)

The Fitz on a Tuesday has a €55 double chance not sure on the exact details as i have only played it once but seemed good and got good numbers.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

DPN do two 60e deepstack games every week...

    - Dunboyne Castle Hotel Fridays, 10k 25 min blinds (for first 5/6 levels, then 20mins)

    - Bell Pub (Blanchardstown) Sundays, 10k 20 min blinds

And yes 75/150 level is included.
