    Hi,

I'm going to set up an auction on Ebay.
The item will start @ €1100
    But it now is €1200.
The price is good so I'm confident it will go for €1200 buy it now.
Tell me, re;free - apart from the regular listing frees etc, I'm going to be getting the buyer to pay COD, no paypal at all (pp fees at too high).
Is there any other charge to be expected from ebay for buy it now- or is it just the listing fee that I'll be charged.

    Thanks,
    NIF

All the information that you require on fees can be found at this link:

Have you much feedback? Listing a high value item if you have little or no feedback is not a great idea. :)

If you're going to list it in euros on the Irish site, you'll probably want to look here:

    http://pages.ebay.ie/help/sell/fees.html

If you're doing an auction with BIN, then there will be the normal insertion fee plus a fee for adding the BIN price. For such a high value item, it's probably best to turn up your Buyer Requirements:

    http://pages.ebay.ie/help/sell/buyer-requirements.html

Also, depending on what category you're listing in, you may be required to offer PayPal as a payment method.

Are you sure An Post will allow COD at €1,200 euro?

if no paypal fees, then main fees will be final value fee

apart from listing fees of course

If it is such a good deal why not try and sell it elsewhere. I think the average you will have to pay is still around 4% without paypal.

EDIT: I see the fee structure link now, most I sold was around €100.
