A-Team Van?

Before i start, i don't know where to post this, and seen as the A-Team van is a modified van, i just thought i'd throw it in here. So apologies to ye olde mods if it must be moved.

    Anyway,

I was wondering, does anyone have any idea how much money you'd spend getting a replica A-Team van? Its always been a pipe dream of mine to own one, and so, have always been curious about it. I seen a great copy of it in Dundalk before (it was spot on looking, except it had "A-TEAM" wrote on the side of it in small writing :( ) but have only ever seen it once (i think i seen it on the internet a little later though, for sale, although im not sure if it was the same one)

The only information i can find on the van is here:

    http://members.tripod.com/~GMC_VAN/vaninfo.html

The van is a 1983 G-series customized by Universal Studios Prop Dept. The engine is a 350 cid with minor modifications done mainly the carburator and exhaust system. The wheels are turbine style 15" painted black with red accents with P235/65 15-front and P 275/65 15-rear. The main color is semi-gloss black-bottom, semi gloss dark gun metal grey metal flake-top with red striping. Other mod's include- quad headlight conversion, full front brushbar, fog/driving lights, exterior sun visor, quad square exhaust tips (each side in front of rear wheels), and custom made rear wing. Interior was custom-white naugahide bucket seats, shag carpet, and custom gun case in the back.
I know the chances of anyone here having any idea about pricing on this kinda thing is hugely, hugely unlikely, and it's definitely not something i'd be doing any time soon. This thread is made more out of genuine curiousity than anything else. Looking for ideas, if i was to do this in the distant future, on where to start, what would cost most, least, etc.

Anyone else ever looked into it before?

This'd get a much better response in motors.

I think i seen that alright. Was around Drogheda too, before. Looks terrible. Unless you had a proper GMC van, there'd be no point in getting the Silver/Red/Black paintjob.

Colm, when you mention ebay, are you taking the piss?

Nah, I'm sure there are replicas floating around for sale, would be worth keeping an eye on ebay.

seen a really really bad one around limerick years ago. Was one of those tiny little narrow vans (maybe suzuki). Hilarious! was painted up to look like it, but looked like it would flip over going around a roundabout.

Took these at the Terenure car show a couple of years ago. Quality work, even had the interior decked out and a BA mask inside
