  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,616 ✭✭✭97i9y3941

problem with virtual boy is many players complained of sore eyes/headaches due to the monochrome colors, although would be nice to have in the collection since its one of the few if none of one of the only consoles that nintendo pulled the plug on so quickly

    46 PS3 Games? And no PS2 aswell?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,749 ✭✭✭CCCP^

I have a full list of what I own, but if I posted it, the extent of my nerdiness would be revealed and I'd lose my esteemed reputation amongst my fellow retro peers :pac:

I think what really makes a collector (apart from a collection) is an avid interest in the games he or she collects. There is absolutely no point in collecting games so they can sit on a shelf, you have to play them, otherwise it's a waste. And it has to be about games you enjoy, not what critics have said or how rare they are.

    NES - 10
    SNES - 31
    Mega-Drive - 55
    N64 - 15
    Mega-CD - 4

Ahaha, it also supports the "G-Factor". Wtf?! No idea what that is (or where it is, geddit? hurhurhur) I have an FC Twin myself. It's a good idea, unfortunately the machine doesn't support the NES Zapper and I think it's only composite out, and it's region locked. I prefer the colour scheme to the red and white one :pac:

Was that directed to me? Anyways, yeah i do download roms for the DS, but once i get more space I'll start buying the games again. The only game i've burned onto cd is FFVII. Other than that I dont download. And yes i completely agree that having the original is so much better.

No, it's region locked. You'd need an adapter, which are handy to pickup. Bummer is it's an NTSC signal so I need to a new TV or a signal converter :/

I think the main problem was that it was just an Amiga 1200 with a CD drive. You could get a 1200 for slightly more with a hard disc and you would have had a machine with the same games, same power and had a decent personel computer to boot.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,616 ✭✭✭97i9y3941

A1200 cheaper to upgrade aswell, you can still get ram for it easy enough, although the accelorators are dear enough these days
