S-Video No Colour

I have connected an S-Video and Audio cables from my Acer laptop to my TV via a scart adaptor. Everything is perfect except the picture on TV is in black and white. I thought S-Video enabled colour. Is there anything I can do? cheers

Make sure that you have it connected to a s-video enabled scart socket and also that you select the s-video source on your TV.
