    Hi,

I have an Elgato DTT deluxe and I can only get the 4 Irish channels plus some radio channels. I understand that they are the only ones available FTA. But is it possible to connect a dish or bigger aerial to receive the UK FTA channels.

I did read some things about different signals between Ireland and UK channels, so am I at a loss here or is there hope.

    Thanks

Can you currently receive the UK stations from a roof top aerial?
Are they clear enough to receive and use teletext without (many) character errors?

If so then yes you should be able to.

BTW DTT only comes over the air so can only be received by aerials not dishes.

You need a separate FTA or Freesat receiver and Dish, then you can get 40 or so decent TV, 10 or so decent radio and load of rubbish :) (250 TV & 70 Radio)

    See the Satellite forum.
