Anyone taken a Section 29?

Just wondering if any of you have experience of taking a Section 29 against a school.

My DS is due to start secondary school in September and the 3 schools I have applied to have refused entry.

He has special needs and at the moment we are both completely stressed out.

The first school I applied to refused because they did not have enough places to fill the applicants.

    Second and third the same.

I am at my wits end.

I would be so grateful for any help.

    Thanks.

don't understand" they did not have enough places to fill the applicants." Do you mean they are oversubscribed?

Firstly you need to get a copy of the enrolement policy and see if it was not followed, only then have you a chance of taking a section 29.

It dirves me mad the way some secondary schools try to wriggle out of taking a child with additional needs.
