My head keeps going round is circles, never stops thinking about the same stuff over and over again. Usually work things, usually tiny things that don't need any thought, like did I remember to x,y,z. I try to write things down and use todo lists to stop my head, but it doesn't seem to work anymore. That used to help, as once I wrote it down, I could forget about it. But now I still keep thinking about it. It's got so bad, I almost think I'd better off quitting, even though I enjoy my job, I'm tired of not sleeping. But on the other hand I'm worried about being out of work as I'm pretty sure it would be hard to find something new.

My opinion.... nothing clears the mind like a good bit of physical exercise. Try going for a four or five hour trek somewhere.

Hmmm, yes that is a good idea. I haven't done that in ages, I'll give it a go. Gonna try and grab some sleep first though. Thanks

i had to do it as had become work obsessed - i found getting into a routine to switch off like a walk or shopping mall or something works.

i have a friend who cooks from recipe books to switch off and he does a kick ass chocolate roulade (swiss roll to you and me mate). A bit extreme and his kids arte getting fatter.
