US to Dublin

    Hey guys,

I am planning a vacation to Ireland in the 2nd half of may. I live in the US (Florida).

I have narrowed down my flight options to:

    1. Aer Lingus direct to Dublin for about $1700 round trip (2 tickets)
    2. Delta with a connection in the US for about $1100 total

Can anyone share opinions about Aer Lingus and Delta for international flights? I like the idea of flying non stop but am trying to decide if it is worth the additional $600. I'd be flying on an A330 with Aer Lingus and a 767 with Delta (coach).

    Thanks, looking forward to visiting!

aer lingus fly smaller airbuses on their us-ireland routes, smaller than 747-400s anyway. i am assuming its orlando you are flying from  its a decent service but i have flown better on transatlantic routes, sometimes aircraft have tvs in seatback, not always though.

for $600 cheaper i would choose the delta option myself if it didn't mean flying to chicago or somewhere or put stupid amount of hours on my journey, orlando to dublin with aer lingus direct is about 8hr 30mins flight if memory serves me correct
