Had one some while ago; fascinating creatures.

    But she was a nanny.

    A working pet.

Billies stink when they get older:)

To be honest a lot of people have said he might smell.
its really to do with there wee
So what i do is move his pen clockwise around the garden so he has plenty of fresh ground. the poo is swept up everyday.
It dose not smell or will it attract flies my roses were better than anything ive
    ever seen.
to keep grass cut i put on his harness he is then connect to a wire that runs along the garden so he can only eat what i want him to eat.
for a male he is very content doing this . he is not a worry to anybody and he is a happy goat.
all this work takes on average half an hour a day.
    well worth it i feel.smile.gif

You are hapy; he is happy so no problems there.

It is their male hormones that kick in later that smell so dreadful..

Where I lived before, there was an old man who used to go to the Post Office;he kept goats and stank always of billy goat.

The Post Mistress used to whip out an air freshener as soon as he had gone.

And when I had my nanny covered, I needed a gas mask to go near her for a few days.

    Happy days of long ago...

Who knows the women in our po probably
dose the same when i leave.redface.gif
But i think good hygiene is very important
it prevents disease and kills a lot of smells.smile.gif

    ... assuming he is "entire"?

My nanny had horns, a beard and toggles:)

    Hi trx
Think one is enough, don't think two males will get on to well togethereek.gif
Think there's a goat sanctuary in cork,
they might be able to help
Wouldn't mind putting billy out for stud if any one has a cute female goat.

    :D
